Gina Stracuzzi, Chief Business Development Officer, is also an Integrative Nutrition and Health Coach, and a Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner at Peak Performance Associates. A career communication and business development strategist, Gina turned her attention to health coaching after a series of health issues sidelined her beloved, sanity-saving running and strength-training routines. When neither her internist nor specialist could determine what was causing her systemic inflammation, Gina turned to a health and nutrition coach rather than rely on the prescription drugs the doctors provided. Her coach recommended eliminating gluten, dairy, soy, and peanuts from Gina’s diet. In less than a week, the searing pain in her limbs, swollen knees, and gastro issues disappeared. Gina was hooked, and the notion that the right food can be medicine and the wrong foods, poison became her motivation.
Gina leverages an eclectic background in working with her clients, including experience supporting global public health programs as part of USAID contracts in developing countries. This work was some of the most satisfying of Gina’s career, and also some of the most difficult as it profoundly highlighted how precious our health is and how often we take it for granted. While Gina always considered herself to be a pretty healthy person, the experience made her truly appreciate how essential good nutrition is to maintaining our health and fighting disease.
A relationship builder at heart, Gina now combines her persuasive communication skills with her health coaching to provide clients with practical tools and advice to help them implement healthy changes. Gina’s easy-going nature and non-judgmental manner is appreciated by clients struggling with health and nutrition challenges.
Gina received her training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she received in-depth training in nutrition, health and wellness, coaching skills, and business development. Gina leads workshops on nutrition and offers individual health and nutrition coaching to those eager to combine great eating with sustained activity!
